ProudNigerians.Org is a campaign mutual fund of progressive Nigerians around the world who primarily focuses on nonpartisan education and advocacy on important national Nigerian issues. We believe you can

A grassroot campaign to reform the media and other work aimed at bringing real people back into the democratic process in Nigeria by making sure legislators hear their voices, by creating a number of internet, television and print advertisements to amplify the voices of ProudNigerians.Org members.
With over 40 million Nigerians in the Diaspora – from students to stay-at-home moms to business leaders – we work together to realize the progressive promise of our country, Nigeria. ProudNigerians.Org is a service – a way for busy but concerned citizens to find their political voice in a system dominated by big money and big media.

We take the initiative to organize quick action on other timely issues that our members care about. What We Are Doing
ProudNigerians.com's goal
is to create a large, diverse community of local organizations
capable of promoting sustainable development. Each state is
different; the nature and roles of Nigerian organizations will differ
significantly from country to country. Still, Nigerian Organizations
are everywhere a potentially critical vehicle for articulating
collective interests and for ensuring citizen participation in the
development process. In countries where the linkages between local
Nigerian Organizations, small business, and local government are
strong and where there appears to be sustainable progress toward
democracy and free-enterprise, We can set the stage for graduation
from ProudNigerians.com assistance.
We will support local capacity building by helping to create and
sustain an extensive network of "partnership" relationships
involving:
ProudNigerians.com and Nigerian Organization in Diaspora and Nigerian
Organizations, including those with which the Agency traditionally
has not worked, such as organizations with little or no international
experience; at times also including other donors such as the
World Bank;
ProudNigerians.com field missions and local Nigerian Organizations;
and
Host country governments at all levels. To have an impact, we need to sell literally millions of T-Shirts and caps. It's really simple to do!
Now, don't wimp out on us at this point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to sell
millions of units.
If you want to support our mission, you can buy T-Shirts for 20 people and then encourage them to pay it forward by buying for others. If each of them buy for at least ten more (20 x 10 = 200) .. and those 200 buys for at least ten more (200 x 10 = 2,000)...and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over Two MILLION units.
If those two million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 20 million people will
have been contacted!
If it goes one level further, you guessed it..... TWO HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE PROMOTING NIGERIAN PRIDE THROUGH PROUDNIGERIANS.ORG AND HELPING TO RAISE MONEY TO EDUCATE!!!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all!
(If you don't understand how we can sell 200 million and all you have to do is buy only 10 units.... Well, let's face it, you just aren't a mathematician. it's OK. so trust us on this one.
How long would all that take? If each of us get involve or sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all in. I suggest that we all do our part until 200 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next year!!!
